Sometimes, I just have to sit down with Jason and close some loops! It feels so good just to get things decided and settled. And, of course, it doesn't mean things can't change. It just means that decisions have been made so progress can occur! I want to give you some tips on how to close some loops in your life and explain why it is so important!

I have women message on the regular looking for permission. It may be a new business idea or a change to what they are currently doing or just an idea they want to investigate, but they feel like they need to be told it is okay. While I am happy to grant them the permission they feel they need, I really want them to find it for themselves. If the Lord has given you an idea to implement or a message to share or a plan to pursue, you don't need anyone's permission. He already gave it to you!
There are 3 main reasons people get stuck in their lives and I have to tell you none of them are worth it. Today I want to talk more about being stuck, why it is happening, and what to do to break free and move on. when a car gets stuck in the mud, what do you do to get it out? You have to get some traction and start some motion. It is the same for you and me. We are not meant to be stuck, not doing what we are called to do!

So it turns out all those cliches like "Rome wasn't built in a day" and "You have to eat an elephant one bite at a time" are more than just cute sayings on a fortune cookie! Whatever big, hard, and scary thing you want to do, start by doing one thing today. What is one bite you can take? What is one step you can accomplish to move you in the direction you want to go? You don't have to see the whole picture or know all the things. Instead, just do the next right thing and keep repeating that!
So Instagram announced that they were taking away the likes...Now what? Well friends, for the most part, I could care less. Let's talk today about why Instagram is saying they are removing the likes and what I think the real reason is. As a mom, I am glad to remove that number as a way for my kids to find value and as a business owner, I have always known that number wasn't the most important metric all along. This is a great topic so let's dive in!
Key Takeaways
Some relationships you are in may be toxic, while others just may be coming to the end of their season. People are meant to be in your life for a season, a reason, or a lifetime. Do you have some relationships that are holding you back? You might have people in your life that are not ready to go with you where you are headed. Let's talk just a few minutes about looking at your relationships especially if you are moving a new direction or starting something new.
I recently closed down one of the revenue streams in my business that was making six figures! You may be thinking I am crazy, but what I know to be true is that when God tells me to do something, I need to be obedient—no matter what. My Paint Finish of the Month membership group was a lucrative part of my business for almost 5 years. In this episode I want to share all about it and why we closed the doors. Have you ever had something you were holding on to but was just not who you were anymore? Let's talk about it.
I was just talking some ladies that I coach and I had 2 different conversations about hiring help. After doing some digging, we figured out their issues. What I have found is that most often our hangups about hiring have more to do with us than the person we may hire. There are several reasons people hesitate when it comes to getting some help—they are probably not what you think. Listen in as I tell you what I think about getting some help in your business!
The is one of those times when I am going to hug with my words and also kick you in the butt a little too. I have women tell me all the time that they just need someone to push them. You shouldn't need someone to push you, instead, you need to act out of obedience and conviction. Self-governing, self-starting, and self-motivating—these do not come from others nagging you to do what you need to do. Listen in as I share 4 keys to finding motivation!
A few weeks ago, I had an opportunity to do something big, hard, and scary, and for someone who usually really watches her words, I kept saying how scared I was. I was quickly reminded to change my words to speak about how invigorating it was. My whole attitude changed. It is amazing the difference in mindset you can have when you do things like change your words. Listen in as I talk about other things you can do to have a courageous mindset when you are attempting big, hard, scary things!
I love the concept of leaving the ladder down—meaning leave a path for those behind you to follow in your success. As women, I think it is so important that we cheer each other on, help each other achieve big dreams, and teach each other what we have already learned. Not only should you be a mentor to others, but you should also seek out a mentor. It is a beautiful, biblical practice that includes mentorship, discipleship, and legacy-building!

What story do you have that plays in your head that may be totally wrong? Are you willing to challenge your thinking, try something new or different, and see if it results in a new mindset? For my entire life, I thought I was someone who couldn't wear heels. My mom didn't wear heels, I never tried them, I just thought they were not for me...until my Equipped conference last year. I was challenged to give them a try and now I LOVE heels! The heels represent something much bigger. Listen in as we dig deeper into false mindsets.

This week is a big dose of encouragement. You may have this idea of how you want to meet with God. Maybe it involves coffee, a fire, a beautiful view—a totally Instragramable moment. And if you can't achieve that then you feel discouraged or don't even try. God just wants a relationship with you! And that will look different in the various seasons of your life. Find ways to give God what you can. Give Him something to work with so He can teach you and mold you and use you!
Friends, think of all the things we teach our kids—sports, school subjects, driving, dancing, acting, and on and on. Often times we pay good money for others to teach our kids all kinds of skills. Today I want to make sure we are teaching the next generation how to have courage and be obedient and the best way to do it to lead by example! Our children and generations to come will be transformed if they can start their lives knowing the importance of being courageous and how to be obedient. So let's model this for all children in our path!
There are so many numbers being shared all over the internet by entrepreneurs. Today I want to talk about the truth behind a lot of the numbers you hear and what numbers really matter. People talk about how many followers they have or how much they just made on a launch. But they don't tell you the truth like the fact that maybe they have horrible reach and engagement or that their expenses where ridiculous so they only kept 25% of launch income. Using big numbers in a vanity matrix truly does nothing for your business or your followers and potential clients. Let's talk more about the numbers we should be concerned with!
If you are waiting for the perfect time, the perfect situation, the perfect anything, it is never going to happen! I love you enough to tell you this. What you are really doing waiting because you are scared. And the thing you are holding on to instead putting out into the world is likely something that someone else needs. And by you holding on to it you are preventing them from being able to move forward. Listen in as I break this down!
Fostering, adopting, or taking in a kid in need is hard and rewarding and a blessing and sanctifying and so much more. It brings so many emotions and situations that you have to learn to navigate. The 3 of us have all added a young child to our families in the last year and talking to them for this episode was like a therapy session for me!
